WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge: Container – Take 2

I can’t take credit for the second submission for the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge.  It was taken by my dad years and years ago.  My daughter reminded me of it when I told her the challenge for this week was “container”.

An old photo, but I will always love this one!

An old photo, but I will always love this one!

I have always thought this was an incredibly cool picture, making it look as if my younger sister is inside this bottle and I am peering down at her.  I hope you enjoy it!  Make sure to click on the link above to see many more interpretations of this week’s photo challenge!

Thank you! 🙂 I love the way my dad captured both of us looking at each other and made it look like my sister was in the bottle!

This is a neat picture. Look at the old TV in the background. I remember those.

    • Beth says:

I know, Connie! One of the fun things about these old photos is seeing the items in the background as well as the fashion choices 😉 It’s funny how much smaller technology has gotten in the years since then! I believe this photo is from 1970.

Great picture and beautiful composition. I’m asking me which version of Photoshop he used. 🙂 🙂

    • Beth says:

I agree that it is an amazing photo! 🙂 I think he’s just got a great eye and probably made the most of the optical illusion created by my sister sitting behind the large bottle. He definitely found just the right angle! 🙂

      • Erwin says:

Absolutely, you have to look twice to see that she is sitting behind the glass and even then it looks like she is sitting inside. 🙂
