With the state of the world these days, it’s easy to get bogged down in worries of finances, of the future, of our families. This is just a little reminder to listen to the wise words of the late Bob Marley and remember that every little thing is gonna be ok.
This song by Billy Dean is always good for boosting my mood as well. It is so true that the simple things can get you through the hardest times.
Here are a few pictures of some of the “simple things” in my life that have brought a smile to my face through the years:

It is the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all.

I hope you find some time today to just take a breath and to know that every little thing is going to be ok!

A great reminder.
Thank you, Paul! I appreciate you taking the time to read and to leave a positive comment! Have a wonderful day! 🙂
I think you’re so right to emphasize the simple things. The photographs are clear, colorful, and a pleasure to look at. I appreciate the reminder about angels.
Thank you so much for reading and for taking the time to leave such a nice comment! I think in these challenging times, sometimes focusing on the small everyday pleasures can make those days when we struggle just a little bit better. Hope your day is going well! 🙂
Experience has taught me that everything will be okay. I still need reminders, though. Thanks!
Thank you for reading and for the nice comment, JoAnna! 😊 Many times I need to repeat myself before I listen to my own advice. 😉 For sure, though, I do believe that in the end everything works out the way it is meant to. ❤️
Amen. ❤
Put me in Jamaica or anywhere it seems. Travel cures all and can be done very simply as my blog philosophy alludes to.
Definitely! I especially enjoy travelling vicariously by looking at some of the amazing photos and reading the stories on fellow bloggers pages! ❤
Any favorites to share?
Depending upon the day, any of the blogs I follow can be inspiring to me. Today I really appreciated a post on “the hot goddess” because it was her honest, uncensored truth and she laid it all out there and then explained how she felt the feelings and then turned it around. It is nice to see others sharing themselves “warts and all” because I think it helps to dissolve the stereotype of perfection that can sometimes perpetrate social media. I know I am FAR from perfect and it is nice to see that others have their struggles too. (Wow….I gave you the long version 😅) That being said, I also love the beautiful photographs that abound on many sites, including your own. 😊 I love to be able to travel vicariously and see places I might not ever get to see otherwise. And I am in love with birds and spring flowers, so anything like that always gets my attention. 💕🐦🌸💕
That’s nice to read Beth. On my most recent blog, I’ve posted videos instead. I hope you like.
I needed to re-read this earlier in the week. Your words and images are perfect reminders of the power of gratitude and simple pleasures. Thank you, Beth💜
Thank you so much! 💓 I need reminders as much as anyone. 😉 If we never had challenges, we wouldn’t appreciate the “easy” times as much, I think. I am so happy my words resonated with you. You are a huge inspiration to me of what you can accomplish by setting goals and dreaming big ❤️🥰❤️
Great post! I do the same when the world seems bleak, I turn to the simple things that make me smile and try to appreciate the good that’s still there in the world.
Thank you so much! 💓 There is definitely still so much good in the world and plenty to be thankful for. Sometimes taking a step away from the big picture makes it easier to find those little things that we can be grateful for. Thanks for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful comment. 😊
No worries and you’re right, it’s very true! taking a step back away from the big picture is sometimes the way to go to notice the little things that make us happy. ❤️
