While I relish our warm months, winter forms our character and brings out our best.

It was snowing when I left home tonight. I wonder what it will be like an hour north of here….
Stay safe. The snow is pretty, but driving on snowy roads is definitely not one of my favorite things. 😵💫

Insightful quotes!
Thank you, JoAnna. ❄️ I always find some words of wisdom when I browse brainy quote. 😉
Love the selfie! The way it’s framed on your eyes really drew me in!
Don’t love the snow so much, but then again it’s the first I’ve experienced in the place I now call home!
Thank you so much! 😊 I love the way the snow looks, but am not a fan of the cold temps and icy toads that generally go along with it. I hope your snow is the fluffy kind that is nice to look at and melts as soon as it touches the ground. 😊❄️😊
Seems to be fluffy but I guess when it falls at a high rate it doesn’t melt that fast!

no tree. just poinsettias here numbering three. the sign said pink too hope so gee gosh. brother mayall is on harp and blues is the day. feteing late denny doherty mamas papas and chuck mangione. happy season is our reason.
We are scheduled to get another 2 inches of advice today. It is unwanted, but inevitable here. Hope all is well Beth. Allan
Stay warm and safe, Allan! I know the snow is pretty, but it seems like it shows up at the most inappropriate times 😉 While I love white Christmases, it seems like the snow more often chooses to fall in the middle of the work week or before I have an event planned. We are now expecting snow on Friday which happens to be the evening of our Christmas party up in Deadwood, about an hour away from here. My honey works for the county and whenever there is snow in the hills, he ends up having to go in and plow, so I’m hoping that the snow will give us a pass for at least the beginning of the weekend. 😉 I hope your snow today is the light and fluffy kind! Take care!!
I miss the silence of snow falling in sultry South Florida when I gaze at that which photo looks like my former Ohio. hometown
It is snowing again here this morning. It makes everything look beautiful and so far isn’t sticking to the road which is the way I like it 😉
Have you experienced dry snow out west?
Not very often. Usually it is a wet, slippery mess. Every now and then, though, we get the lovely, light stuff. Today’s snow was wet, but thankfully didn’t last too long, so the roads shouldn’t be too bad getting home after work! 🙂
We got snow here, too. Lovely pics and super cute photo of you! 😊
Thank you so much! ❤ We got dumped on again this weekend and started the day in the negative. I am beyond ready for spring 😉
Meeee too!
once knew someone like you from kentucky. her husband died. sorry i cut her off .
It’s sad losing touch with people. Sometimes it takes a while to get back to normality after losing someone. Maybe you can reach out to her again. 😊
