You must learn day by day, year by year to broaden your horizon. The more things you love, the more you are interested in, the more you enjoy, the more you are indignant about, the more you have left when anything happens. ~ Ethel Barrymore
This week the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge is Horizon. Here are a few of my favorite photos of the horizon!

The always beautiful Oregon coast with a view of a lighthouse on the distant shore as seen from the Sea Lion caves.
Love your quote, your pompeii photo is my favorite. Love to know when you went. We were there last November and it was crowded…
Thanks so much! :). I was lucky enough to have the chance to visit in May of 2012 with my sister. We went fairly early in the morning and it wasn’t too crowded, but it was overcast and rainy the day we went, so that may have factored in to it too :). We were there for about an hour and a half, and it wasn’t nearly long enough for me. Maybe I’ll make it back again someday.
Thanks so much! I hope to make it back again one day too, that’s why I asked. It was truly a magical place. Thanks again for sharing, I love to armchair travel!
Me too, Tiare! 🙂 That’s one of the wonderful things about these photo challenges; getting to see places we might not otherwise have the chance to! 🙂 Have a great day!
You’ve been witness to so many beautiful horizons in such different places! Thank you for sharing these! 🙂
Thank YOU for visiting my little site :). I have definitely been fortunate to have the opportunities I’ve had to see some amazing places!
Yay! A lighthouse! I love lighthouses!
Me too! Thank you! I loved your picture with the dark trees against the bright blue sky. I agree you had some awesome entries in your prior post as well! You could always do a second post for the challenge and include some of those as well. The fall colors are beautiful!
Thank you Beth! Thank you for visiting my blog.
