I’m a mom of 3 awesome kids, two sons and a daughter. I divorced in 2009 and then thought I was with “my forever person”, remarried in 2014 and found out that wasn’t to be either. Despite life not working out as planned, I still try to look for the positive in the people and situations I come in contact with!
With the help of Match.com, I met a wonderful person and almost nine months in (on 5/14/22), it’s all good. It’s hard for me to look too far into the future anymore, but I am definitely smitten and hoping for the best. ❤
I believe in the power of positive thinking and I believe that even challenging circumstances can be learning experiences if we have a positive mindset!

Things I love, aside from my kids include:
- Entering Sweepstakes and Contests (hey, SOMEONE has to win, might as well be me!)

- Feeding and watching the birds and squirrels in my yard
- Gardening
- Reading
- Spooky stories and places. My bucket list includes being contacted by a ghost (Friendly, like Casper, of course!!)
- Finding any stories, photos, quotes, posts, blogs, articles that give me advice on how to focus on the positive!
- Giving advice (mostly solicited, occasionally not….can’t help myself sometimes!)
- Traveling when I’m able (and taking pictures of the places I’m lucky enough to travel to!!)
- Seeing Movies in the theatre (and movie popcorn!!)

Wow! It’s definitely a change going back to the single life after being married for so long. I was married for 19 years and as with everything, there was good and bad, and some things I still miss after 4 years being divorced. He has moved on and is happily remarried and perhaps someday I will be too, but for now I’m enjoying what each day brings and making my own decisions and setting my own goals. I totally agree about movie popcorn, although I think sometimes I’ve just conditioned myself (with help from the theatre) that a darkened theatre must be accompanied by popcorn and a diet Coke! Ah well, life with no vices would be boring 😉

I don’t meet many either but there is another one at the local Community House where I volunteer, so we are B1 and B2! I know too well about being able to go it alone, but I have to agree with you that it’s far better with the right person to share it all with!

I bet they must roll their eyes, I did that too. Infact when we all friends or cousins get togther we tend to share ghost stories(many of them are made up that time) but I like it that much, can never think myself going to visit a haunted place :):)

Wouldn’t that be cool?!? I have asked my Mom to send me signs from heaven and I have found several heart shaped rocks and coral and a lovely blue bird, but so far no direct contact. Maybe someday!
