The WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge this week is Contrasts. To meet this week’s challenge, I chose photos that I took in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Epcot and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.
The first photo could be considered a study in contrasts in several ways. The primary one I saw was the contrast between the even line at the top of the building and the decorative, curvy line embellishing it.
Upon looking at the photo, however, I find a difference between the blue sky peeking out and the rain clouds that fill up most of the sky. I also see a contrast between the full bus stops and the bus stops with few to no people in them.
My next photo is of one of the giant fruit bats in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. These are my absolute favorite animal in the park! If time were not a factor, which it inevitably is at theme parks, I could watch these fascinating creatures for hours! In this photo there is a contrast between his open wing and the closed wing.
The next two photos show the contrast between the green topiary base and the colors the garden artists were able to add to and around the topiaries. Walking around and enjoying all the beautiful designs was a true delight!
My final photo is also from Epcot. In this photo, I found a contrast between the water and the ground and also between the ground and the sky. And I just loved those flowers at the Flower and Garden festival, so had to put just one more photo in there! 😉

Great photos. There’s a sense of richness. What camera do you use?
Actually, these were taken with my little Sony Cyber-Shot. It’s small and easy to carry around when on vacation 🙂
