Ever feel like just getting away from it all? I feel like that at the moment! I am pleased with this practice painting, though! My first palm trees had leaves that all blurred together. I got a little better with this rendition.
Art is the only way to run away without leaving home.
I try to look for the positive in the people and situations I come in contact with! I believe in the power of positive thinking and I believe that even challenging circumstances can be learning experiences if we have a positive mindset!

Go for it👍
Thank you so much! 😊 Because I’m still fairly new to watercolor, it doesn’t always do what I want, so I love it when it does! 😄 Thanks for taking the time to leave an encouraging comment! 😊
I’m sure your art gives you a lot of meaning. I know a very good actress who is also an accomplished classical dancer. She tells me that through her dance she experiences divinity.
You’re lucky to have this gift too 😊
Thank you so much! I still have so much to learn, but I am enjoying the process. I can easily understand how a talented dancer could achieve that feeling. I have so much admiration for those who can make it look effortless to glide across a stage or room.! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! 😊
The camera gave me an incredible freedom. It gave me the ability to parade through the world and look at people and things very, very closely. Carrie Mae Weems

It’s all about trying. I can’t draw or paint but I know that as I write it does seem to get better.
So true! I think the more time invested, the more comfortable we become. 😊
Nice work!!
Thank you so much Jyothi! 😊 I appreciate you taking the time to comment. 😊
This is brilliant. I also love the art quote
Thank you so much! ❤ I loved the quote because sometimes when I am working on my watercolor practice pieces, my mind at least is in another place 😉
