The weather forecast was right and we actually got the massive snowstorm that had been predicted for the last several days. Wednesday was a snow day. This allowed me some unexpected free time. Although some of this time was spent using the snowblower to keep ahead of the drifts, I did find enough time to relax and to create some more of my zentangle drawings.
I liked this quote from Bertrand Russell and thought it was very appropriate for my situation yesterday. While I wasn’t extremely productive, I enjoyed having the unplanned hours at home. Now if there could be a snow day without the need to clear the snow, that would REALLY be perfect!

It worked out for me. I was home sick with the flu, so I didn’t have to drive in the craziness!
That is probably the only good thing about having the flu! Way to look for the positive! 😊 Hope you’re feeling much better very soon.
My wife and I always go for a nice long walk as the snow storm is in progress.
The snow definitely makes for a beautiful background. 😊 Our temps were in the negative, so I wasn’t out too long this time. 😉

The fact is there are no snowdays at our place but we get enough rainstroms to fet holidays😅. I would just clean my room and watch tv or maybe youtube. BTW I just loved the simple language you used.
