While visiting Mount Rushmore National Memorial to view the evening lighting ceremony, we were lucky enough to get to see a mother mountain goat and her baby grazing on some prairie grass near the entrance. The lighting ceremony was very impressive and we were all glad to have the chance to see it, but I’m glad we had our eyes open and were able to also see a tender moment from nature as well! 🙂

Those statues of the four Presidents look very impressive Nice pictures of the goats.
They definitely are impressive, chrisstov! I’m not a huge fan of all the changes they’ve made to the surrounding area, making it look more like Washington, DC than the Black Hills of South Dakota, but one improvement is a nice walking trail that goes closer to the faces and gives a great “closer up” view. Thank you for your nice comment! 🙂 Have a wonderful day!
